Our teachers break down the basics of mindfulness practice to empower your team with ready-to-implement tools and techniques that are proven to improve health, lower stress and anxiety, increase focus, and build resilience.
This is a half hour breathwork class and meditation practice to help you bring your body and mind into coherence and find a balance of alertness and ease.
Working with Anxiety and Stress
In this class we will perform a variety of breathing techniques that are proven to lower stress and anxiety by tapping in to the parasympathetic nervous system. We pair breathwork with very simple movements and end with a breath meditation.
Nervous System Reset
Loving- Kindness (Metta) Meditation
Loving-Kindness Meditation focuses on developing feelings of goodwill, kindness, and warmth towards the self and others. It is based on Buddhist traditional practices. Documented benefits of Metta meditation include increased empathy and compassion, decreased chronic pain, and increased positive emotions.
Body Scan Meditation
This guided meditation helps develop introception, the tool of discerning what sensations are arising in your body at any given moment. This practice enables a deeper relationship with oneself more connections and in turn, with the world around you.
